– 입장 제한 시간 및 선행 미션 수행 여부 등의 조건을 완화하겠다. 순차적으로 완화할 예정이다.
#2. 길드원끼리 즐길만한 서브 콘텐츠가 있으면 좋겠다.
– 길드원, 친구들과 함께 즐길 수 있는 콘텐츠를 만들고 싶다. 하지만 아직은 좀 더 많은 유저들에게 영향을 줄 수 있는 다른 개선 작업이 많이 남아있는 상태다. 이후에 추가를 고려하도록 하겠다.
#3. 더 시드의 유효링 획득 확률 증가나 난이도를 완화할 예정이 있는지
– 현시점에서 변경할 계획은 없다. 최근 시드링은 플레이의 중요한 요소가 되고 있기에, 갑작스러운 획득 환경 변화는 기존의 유저에게도 좋지 영향(가치 하락 등)을 끼칠 수 있다. 지금의 시드링은 플레이에 있어 중요한 요소로 작용하고 있지만, 차후 콘텐츠를 추가하여 다른 아이템을 더 자주 사용할 수 있게 하거나, 기존 아이템을 강화하는 형태로 발전시켜 나갈 예정이다.
#4. 최근 유저가 늘어나 사냥터가 포화된 상태다. 리부트 서버 채널의 확장/개선이 필요하다.
– 40개 채널로 증설할 예정이다. 5월 중에 업데이트 하겠다.
#5. 리부트 서버에서는 메이플 포인트 수급이 불가능하다. 특정 콘텐츠 참가가 어려운데 개선할 예정이 있는지?
– 과거엔 서버 콘셉트를 이유로 파워 엘릭서 패키지를 판매하지 않았다. 하지만 최근엔 이 의미가 많이 희석되었다고 판단, 5월 중 파워 엘릭서 패키지를 리부트 서버에서도 판매할 예정이다.
#6. 경매장이 없는 리부트 서버의 특성상 앱솔랩스 제작을 위해선 주간 퀘스트가 필수적이다. 하지만 퀘스트 보상이 적어 제작 시간이 오래걸리고 있기에 관련 주간 퀘스트의 보상 증가가 필요하다.
– 리부트 뿐만 아니라 모든 서버에서의 보상을 증가할 예정이다. 5월 중 패치를 예정하고 있다.
#7. 무릉 도장의 보상컷이 높아 참여율이 낮은 상태다. 시스템 개선이나 보상을 개편할 예정이 있는지?
– 보상 획득 범위를 늘리면 보상이 줄어들 수밖에 없다. 따라서 이러한 방법이 근본적인 해결책이 되진 못할 것 같다.
무릉 도장은 원래 목적이었던 ‘캐릭터 성장 정도의 확인’을 콘셉트로 하여 개편을 준비 중에 있다. 개편과 함께 서버의 시간에 따라 콘텐츠 내의 시간이 달라지는 문제를 비롯하여, 이용에 불편을 주었던 부분들도 개선하겠다.
#8. 몬스터 파크의 상위 지역 업데이트가 필요하다.
– 빠른 시간 내에 상위 지역을 추가하겠다. 아울러 기존 몬스터 파크 지역의 효율 및 지형도 검토하겠다.
#9. 어빌리티 옵션 프리셋 기능 추가가 필요하다.
– 어빌리티 콘텐츠의 획득 난이도는 더 낮아져야 한다고 생각한다. 현재 계속해서 개선 중이기에 프리셋 시스템을 지금 당장 추가하는 것은 시기적으로 이르다고 판단된다. 해당 시스템의 필요성은 공감하며, 이후 검토하도록 하겠다.
#10. 업적 시스템의 미구현된 부분(유니온, V매트릭스)의 확장과, 업적 난이도에 따른 합당한 보상의 개편이 필요하다.
– 업적 시스템에 대한 관리가 미흡했던 것 같다. 차후 업데이트로 무릉 개편 및 유니온 시스템이 확장되면, 관련 업적과 함께 도전 욕구를 자극하는 업적도 보강하겠다. 업적은 직접적인 보상보다는 플레이에 대한 동기 부여/자부심이 동기가 되는 콘텐츠기에, 보상이 너무 강력하면 또 다른 문제가 발생할 수 있을 것 같다.
이벤트 반지와 관련된 획득 업적은 최근엔 획득할 수 없는 반지가 조건으로 걸려있는데, 이 부분은 완화할 예정이다.
#11. 전문기술 숙련도 하락 개편 계획이 있는지?
– 페널티가 주어지는 시간이 너무 짧다고 생각한다. 완전한 삭제는 어렵겠지만, 빠른 시간 내에 좀 더 길게 유지될 수 있도록 할 수정할 예정이다.
#12. 토드의 망치 사용 시 획득 난이도가 높은 장비가 있어 진행이 어려울 때가 있다.
– 미진했던 부분이 있는 것 같다. 현재 100레벨 이하의 장비까지만 20레벨 이상의 전승이 가능한데, 이 부분을 확장하고 획득 난이도가 높은 부위인 견장, 망토 등도 개선하겠다.
#13. 상시로 플레이할 수 있는 미니 게임의 출시 예정이 있나?
– 미니게임을 상시로 진행하게 되면 매칭이 잘 안될 것으로 예상된다. 미니 게임들은 비정기적으로 해야 더 재미있다고 생각하고, 시즌 별로 오픈했을 때의 반응이 더 좋았던 것 같다. 사냥, 보스 외의 다양한 콘텐츠들은 시즌 별로, 비정기적으로 추가하도록 하겠다.
#14. 과거에 진행했던 이벤트나 스토리를 리메이크하거나 이벤트성으로 출시할 계획이 있을지?
– 과거의 맵과 콘텐츠를 활용하는 것에 대해서는 고려해보도록 하겠다.
메이플스토리 클래식 버전에 유저들의 수요도 알고 있다. 하지만 과거의 콘텐츠를 그대로 출시하는 것에는 부정적이다. 지금은 환경이 많이 변하여 과거 콘텐츠를 그대로 출시했을 때, 그때와 달리 유저들이 편의성과 플레이 등에서 불편함을 느낄 수 있다.
이러한 이유로 오히려 추억에도 부정적인 영향을 끼칠 수 있을 것 같다. 따라서 그대로 내기보다는 리메이크 등을 통해 잘 개선하여 내는 것이 중요하다고 생각한다.
#15. 프리토의 보물 받기 콘텐츠를 삭제/개선할 예정이 있는지?
– 보물 받기는 5월 내에 삭제하도록 하겠다. 실제 프리토의 경험치는 계속 조정하고 있지만, 콘텐츠적으로의 수정은 미흡했던 것 같다. 폴로와 프리토 콘텐츠는 원래의 취지에 맞게 개편할 예정이다.
#16. 파티 콘텐츠의 추가 및 강화/개편이 필요하다.
– ‘혼자 할 수 있는 게임’이라는 점은 메이플스토리가 가진 큰 장점 중 하나라고 생각한다. 성장은 솔로 플레이 위주로 진행되어 왔기에, 이 부분에 관련하여 공격적으로 파티 콘텐츠를 추가할 예정은 없다. 파티 플레이와 같은 콘텐츠는 지금처럼 시즌 콘텐츠로 추가하도록 하겠다.
