Tour winner Pogacar wins Strade Bianche for Soloritt
The 23-year-old Slovene reached the target in Siena on Saturday after 184 kilometers as a soloist after a 50-kilometer. For Pogacar it was the first victory in the race, which also leads on gravel roads. Thus, the two-time tour winners underlined his strong early form after the latest profit of the UAE tour.

During the race in Tuscany, there were about half a mass crash, in which world champion Julian Alaphilippe was involved. The Frenchman could continue the race in contrast to other drivers.
German drivers had nothing to do with the race exit. Ben Zwiehoff (Bora-Hansgrohe) landed as the best with more than eight minutes behind the 43rd. Zwiehoff’s teammate Lennard Kombna (Wedel), who had given his comeback at the beginning of February after a nearly nine-month racing break, missed because of a gastrointestinal infect.
