Nightdive studios would like to make more Remasters
In particular, Nintendo games are high in the CEO of Nightdive. But what do the Japanese say?
Nightdive Studios has made a name for itself in recent years, especially by various Remasters of older games. Among other things, the Team from Portland has worked on the new editions of Turok, System Shock and Quake. Latest works are the Remasters of Shadow Man and Powerslave Exhumed. But the Americans want more. Like NightDive Studios’ CEO Stephen Click to tell during a conversation on Twitter, one has led several times in recent years with Nintendo to offer older titles as Remasters.
However, Nintendo is extremely restrained when it comes to cooperation with third-party manufacturers. Here, NightDive was the first studio at all, which has published the first Nintendo-64 games (Turok, Doom 64, etc.) for the switch. In addition, the company boss assumed that he wanted to implement a Remaster of Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem, which was published in 2001 for the Gamecube.
Whether Nintendo can be moved from the public statement and move to further discussions remains to be seen. But what’s the name of it? The hope dies last.
