An important and expected PSN feature could provide PS4 and PS5 an advantage over Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. In both generations of Xbox and PlayStation consoles, there are not many exclusive features that separate any of the platforms of its competitor. They are very similar machines, with many shared games, almost identical specifications and many similar characteristics. To this end, all the mentioned consoles are compatible with DISCORD, but none has the proper integration of DISCORD. That said, it seems that this is finally about to change for PS5 and possibly also for PS4.

Later Reddit, a Discord user revealed that this week they were able to unlock the option to link their PSN account to Discord, an option that is not normally available. At first, some thought that the function threw himself stealthily, but this is not the case. PSN X Discord is not yet available, but clearly it will be soon. Not only PlayStation, clearly, is actively working on it, but apparently the work is almost complete.

Unfortunately, we still do not have specific details not only about when the function will be activated exactly, but also about how extensive and solid the integration will be. You imagine that you will be similar to what those on the PC have access, but for now, this is just an assumption.

At the time of publication, none of the parties involved has pronounced this filtration or about the speculation it has created. We do not anticipate this change for a variety of reasons, especially if a formal launch is imminent, but if some kind of response is issued, we will make sure to update the story with what is given, outstanding or not.
